Miami’s own GEARS smashes genres, fusing the heart of metal, the soul of R&B, the bounce of hip-hop, and the edge of alternative into a sound that’s heavy, fearless, and impossible to ignore.

Formed in 2014 by frontman Tripp Sixx, GEARS brings raw emotion and grit, powered by Josh “GROOT” Routt’s thunderous bass and Johnny Nobody’s pounding drums. Together, they’ve built music that hits hard—both sonically and emotionally.

Their breakout single “Wasteland” climbed into the Top 20 Billboard Mainstream Rock Indicator and Top 50 Mediabase Active Rock charts, setting the stage for national recognition. With producer Chris Dawson (SAUL, Any Given Sin), GEARS has crafted a signature sound that’s both modern and timeless.

On stage, they’ve shared the bill with All That Remains, Nonpoint, Saliva, Sevendust, Trapt, Season After, and Scotty Austin (Saving Abel)—proving they can hold their own with rock’s heavy hitters while winning over fans everywhere.
